US Accountant & Financial Analyst

Job Title: US Accountant & Financial Analyst Location: Kirti Nagar, New Delhi (Work from Office) Shift: US Shift (Night Shift) Experience: 3-5+ years in US Accounting and Financial Analysis About the Role We are looking for someone who goes beyond traditional bookkeeping. The ability to build meaningful dashboards, track live business health metrics, and deliver strategic recommendations to leadership will be a key differentiator for this role. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end US bookkeeping, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and assist with financial statements. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance. Provide recommendations on company finances, cash management, budgeting, and cost optimization. Support leadership with personal financial planning, investments, and wealth management insights. Coordinate with accountants, tax consultants, auditors, insurance providers, and financial advisors. Develop and improve financial controls, policies, and reporting procedures. Analyze financial data and convert it into actionable business insights that improve profitability and operational efficiency. Identify cost-saving opportunities and proactively recommend strategies to improve margins and financial performance. Build financial dashboards, KPIs, and live reporting metrics to provide real-time visibility into the health of the business, including cash flow trends, profitability, expenses, and financial risks. Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, tax regulations, and applicable federal and state financial laws. Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency. Support financial forecasting, strategic planning, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc business analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications 3-8+ years of experience in US Accounting and Bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (Online/Desktop). Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations, AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of investment accounting, financial planning, and wealth management concepts. Deep knowledge of US accounting standards, compliance requirements, and financial regulations. Experience working with US insurance companies, insurance billing, and financial documentation is preferred. Experience working alongside factor companies is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced financial modeling. Hands-on experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar) to automate reporting, generate financial insights, improve productivity, and support strategic decision-making. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business advisory skills. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge existing approaches, ask meaningful questions, and provide constructive recommendations. Ability to think strategically while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Ability to use AI Extensively is a must Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting financial advisors, investment firms, or insurance-related businesses. Experience in working alongside factor companies is a plus. Familiarity with US accounting principles and financial reporting. .
