Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced US Accounting & Payroll Manager for a leading US CPA Firm. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in US Accounting, Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, and Payroll Processing. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage client engagements, lead accounting teams, and ensure timely and accurate financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end US Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Payroll operations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Review and monitor Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Bank Reconciliations, and Financial Statements.
• Process and review US Payroll, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local payroll regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Accounting & Payroll teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Handle multiple US client engagements while ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and payroll regulations.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting and payroll-related queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in US Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Payroll.
• Strong expertise in Financial Reporting, Bookkeeping, Payroll Processing, AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation, and Financial Statements.
• Experience in managing Accounting and Payroll teams.
• Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience with accounting and payroll software such as:
  • QuickBooks
  • NetSuite
  • Xero
  • ADP
  • Gusto
  • Paychex
  • Or similar accounting/payroll platforms
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working with US CPA Firms or international accounting clients will be an added advantage.
