About The Job:
We are looking for experienced US Mortgage Underwriters with expertise in Conventional and Non-QM loan underwriting. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of mortgage guidelines, income analysis, risk assessment, and loan file review.
- Working Days: 5 Days
- Week Off: Saturday & Sunday (flexibility required based on business needs)
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Review and underwrite Conventional and Non-QM mortgage loan files.
- Analyze borrower income, assets, credit, appraisal, and collateral documents.
- Perform income calculations, DTI/LTV analysis, and loan eligibility assessment.
- Review pre-closing and post-closing audit findings and ensure compliance with investor guidelines.
- Collaborate with processors, loan officers, and internal teams to facilitate timely loan decisions.
Required Skills
- Experience in Conventional and/or Non-QM loan products.
- Strong knowledge of FNMA/Freddie Mac guidelines.
