UX Research Intern

UX Research Intern Location: Gurugram Team: Product & Design Duration: 36 Months About the RoleThe UX Research Intern will work closely with the Product and Design teams to improve customer and seller experiences across Snapdeal platforms. The intern will participate in user research, problem discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing while leveraging AI-assisted design tools to accelerate design exploration and validation. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the end-to-end design process from problem discovery to solution validation.Conduct user research, competitor benchmarking, and usability testing.Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to solve complex user problems.Contribute to and maintain design systems for consistency across products.Analyze customer behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for experience improvements.Leverage AI-powered design and research tools to enhance design efficiency and experimentation.Present design rationale, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.Educational Qualifications (Required)Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Final-year students and recent graduates are preferred.A portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving ability, and UX/Product Design projects is mandatory.Candidate Profile (Skills Required)Strong product thinking and user-centric mindset.Understanding of business goals, customer behavior, and product metrics.AI-first approach to design, research, and problem-solving.Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.Knowledge of UX research methodologies, usability testing, and information architecture.Ability to convert ambiguous problems into structured, intuitive design solutions.Strong communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Curiosity, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.What Makes You a Great FitPassionate about building products that solve real customer problems.Comfortable working with data, customer insights, and experimentation.Excited about the intersection of AI, design, and product innovation.Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take ownership of projects.What You'll GainHands-on experience working on one of India's leading e-commerce platforms.Exposure to large-scale consumer product challenges and user behavior.Mentorship from experienced Product and Design leaders.Opportunity to contribute to live projects impacting millions of users.Potential consideration for full-time opportunities based on performance.Portfolio is mandatory.
