Vice President, Fullstack Engineer (Pune)

Were seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our ENTERPRISE RISK TECH RISK ENGINEERING team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways: - Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks. - Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and web applications. - Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Drive best practices in software design, coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes and improvements. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building. - Support CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and DevOps practices. - Ensure applications meet reliability, availability, and compliance standards. - Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Significant experience in full-stack application development. - Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture. - Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns. - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and deployment automation. - Robust knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, and secure coding practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. - To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: - Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ. - Exposure to test automation frameworks and performance tuning. - Prior experience in technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring. .
