Role Overview
You will be responsible for leading the sales and growth strategy for the cybersecurity BFSI vertical across India and global markets. This includes developing annual revenue plans, pipeline targets, and growth forecasts aligned with organizational goals. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing cybersecurity sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for cybersecurity services in the BFSI sector
- Drive sales of cybersecurity services including Managed Security Services, Cloud security, Identity & Access Management, Application & data security, Cyber risk, compliance & regulatory consulting, Threat intelligence & incident response
- Own end-to-end deal cycles, from opportunity identification to closure of large multi-year cybersecurity engagements
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in Tier 1/2 banks, insurers, NBFCs, payment networks, exchanges, and fintech ecosystems
- Work closely with cybersecurity practice leaders, solution architects, delivery, and marketing teams to create differentiated offerings
- Stay ahead of BFSI regulatory shifts, cyber risk frameworks, and compliance mandates
- Provide insights on cybersecurity market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving threat landscapes
- Represent the company at BFSI security forums, conferences, and industry panels
Qualifications Required
- 15-20 years of experience in IT services sales, with 10 years in cybersecurity and significant focus on BFSI
- Proven capability to manage annual quotas of USD 20M in security services
- Strong record of closing large security transformation deals (3M-25M)
- Experience engaging with global BFSI enterprises and regulated industries
- Strong grasp of BFSI cybersecurity needs including compliance, risk management, fraud prevention, cloud security, and threat mitigation
- Exceptional executive presence with ability to engage C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and a structured approach to enterprise selling
- Ability to lead diverse and distributed sales teams
