About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
L2 VMware & Windows Administrator
to join our Infrastructure Operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise virtualization environments, Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory services, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and virtualization technologies.
You will be responsible for maintaining business-critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resolving L2 incidents, and supporting enterprise IT operations while working closely with L1, L3, and Infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities
VMware Administration
Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
Manage VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, templates, and lifecycle management.
Configure and support VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, vSAN, and virtual networking.
Perform ESXi patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Monitor VMware infrastructure performance and ensure maximum availability.
Windows Server Administration
Administer Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 settings.
Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
Configure and maintain Group Policies (GPO).
Manage DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS, and WSUS.
Perform user administration, access management, and security policy implementation.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Manage backup and recovery using
Veeam Backup & Replication
.
Support Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and Disaster Recovery planning.
Perform backup validation, restoration testing, and recovery procedures.
Ensure business continuity through regular DR drills.
Infrastructure Operations
Monitor enterprise infrastructure using vROps, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar tools.
Perform proactive infrastructure health checks.
