Hiring NOC Engineer for a Reputed/US MNC company located at Mohali
Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to monitor SMS and Voice traffic. The candidate will be responsible for tracking traffic performance, identifying delivery issues, monitoring system logs, and escalating incidents to relevant internal teams or telecom operators.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor SMS and Voice traffic to ensure uninterrupted service.
Track message delivery reports and voice traffic performance.
Identify traffic drops, delivery failures, routing issues, and system errors.
Perform basic monitoring of SMS Gateway, SMPP, and SIP connections.
Analyze logs and generate incident reports when required.
Escalate critical issues to internal technical teams and telecom operators.
Follow escalation matrices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Maintain shift-wise monitoring records and reports.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Ensure timely communication of service-impacting incidents.
Required Skills
Positive verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Knowledge of SMS Gateway, SMPP, SIP, or telecom technologies will be an advantage.
Basic log analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Valuable attention to detail and monitoring skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, or related field.
Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Internship or academic exposure to networking or telecom systems will be an added advantage.
