VP Sr Software Engineer || Global Bank || Pune Job Description: To design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Skills: Strong experience leading full-stack engineering delivery, with hands-on expertise in Java-based microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.Deep knowledge of DLT platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Besu / EVM-based networks) and blockchain architecture concepts.Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts (e.g., Solidity) with strong focus on security and lifecycle management. Some other highly valued skills may include: Knowledge of payment systems, payments processing, including domestic and international payments, instant payments, and digital assetsKnowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technology (such as Ethereum) for secure transaction systems and how to integrate with them.Deep understanding of common design patterns, software engineering fundamentals, and best practices. .
