Job Description - Front Line Sales (Agency Channel)

Role Purpose
Drive life insurance business through the Agency Channel by recruiting, managing, and developing Insurance Advisors/Agents to achieve sales targets and ensure business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agent Recruitment & Activation
- Recruit quality advisors/agents as per business plan
- Ensure licensing, onboarding, and early activation
- Maintain a strong and continuous agency pipeline
2. Sales & Business Delivery
- Achieve assigned business targets (APE/Premium)
- Drive revenue through agents
- Focus on product mix as per company strategy
3. Agent Productivity & Development
- Train agents on products, pitch, and sales process
- Conduct joint calls for conversion support
- Monitor and improve agent productivity
4. Customer Management
- Ensure high-quality sales and customer satisfaction
- Drive persistency and renewal business
- Manage customer queries/escalations
5. Compliance & Process
- Ensure adherence to IRDA and company guidelines
- Maintain proper documentation and sales quality
- Avoid mis-selling and ensure ethical practices
Key KPIs
- Active agent count & recruitment numbers
- Business target achievement (APE/Premium)
- Agent productivity & activation ratio
- Persistency ratios (13th Month)
- Compliance adherence
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Graduate (mandatory)
- Experience: 2 years in BFSI/Sales/Insurance/Direct Sales
- Freshers with solid sales orientation can be considered
