About the Role The Underwriter/Sr. Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating loan applications and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the mortgage industry.
Responsibilities A Minimum of 3+ years' work experience in US Residential Mortgage specifically in Frontend (Live) US Residential Underwriting
Expertise in Underwriting Reviewing Income, Credit, Collateral & Capital
Expertise in calculating all type of Incomes (Salaried/Self Employed and Other Income), Asset & Ratios
Must have experience in Underwriting all type of loans Purchase/Refinance/Construction
Expertise in reviewing the Guideline (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac)
Evaluating the Loan documents for approval/rejection
Review Appraisal document to identify whether the property has been evaluated correctly
Assessing loan attributes and documentation for soundness and accuracy
Approving/Denying/Counter Offer the loans after verifying borrower eligibility Note: This is only for US mortgage Underwriter position. Candidates having other domain experience please ignore.
Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years' work experience in US Residential Mortgage Underwriting (4c's).
Preferred Skills Experience with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines
