Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Coder (Fresher) to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments using standard coding systems. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and documentation.
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Verify completeness and correctness of medical documentation.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
Work closely with physicians and billing teams to resolve coding queries.
Meet productivity and quality targets.
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, or a related healthcare field.
Medical coding certification is preferred.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
