Walk-in || Network Operations Engineer

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Network Operations Engineer to join our global infrastructure support team. Key Responsibilities 1. Cisco Routing & Enterprise Infrastructure Hardware Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot core layer routing systems including Cisco ASR and ISR series routers. Routing Protocol Engineering: Perform granular path control, filtering, and debugging on BGP (ASNs, Policy-Based Routing, Route Reflectors, Communities, Attributes) and EIGRP (Variance load balancing, topology tables, metric tuning). Advanced Route Manipulation: Design and fix complex route redistribution mechanisms between disparate routing protocols using Route-maps, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Prefix-lists. 2. Data Center Infrastructure & Core Switching Nexus Switching: Administer and optimize Cisco Nexus 9K series switches and Core Layer 3 Catalyst platforms. DC Fabric Management: Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot layer-2 and layer-3 modern DC virtualization technologies including Fabric Extenders (FEX), virtual Port Channels (vPC), and VXLAN overlay fabrics. Packet Analysis: Utilize deep knowledge of the TCP/IP stack to break down network transport issues and traffic anomalies. 3. Edge, Security, & Tunnel Transport VPN Architectures: Establish, monitor, and triage secure data transit lines via GRE VPNs and IPsec VPNs utilizing modern cryptographic key exchanges (IKEv2). Address Translation: Handle enterprise-level Network Address Translation (NAT), including static, dynamic, and port-address translation overhauls. 4. Global Operations & Incident Management Remote Triage: Deliver high-tier remote support to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues for multiple geographically isolated locations. Queue & Incident Handling: Monitor the team mailbox, review inbound infrastructure requests, and resolve active incident tickets within SLA parameters. Collaborative Commits: Stay highly responsive and available on corporate communication channels (Skype, Teams) to join bridge calls and address critical production disruptions. Qualifications & Skills Essential (Must-Have) 6-8 years of dedicated experience in network operations engineering or IT infrastructure services (IT IS - Data Network). Expert-level mastery of Cisco OS platforms (IOS-XE, NX-OS). Strong debugging capabilities across BGP attributes, prefix manipulation tools, and Layer 2/3 Data Center environments. .
