Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze emergency department and trauma care documentation for coding.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Identify missing or incomplete documentation and escalate when necessary.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Participate in training programs and continuous learning initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accident & Emergency Care Technology.
