Wanted Functional Tester / QA Engineer

Job Title: Functional Tester / QA EngineerJob Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Functional Tester / QA Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, reliability, and performance of applications by identifying defects and validating that software meets business and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.Execute test cases and document test results.Identify, reproduce, and report software defects with clear steps and supporting details.Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues.Perform UI and usability testing across different browsers and devices.Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure application workflows function correctly.Maintain test cases, test data, and testing documentation.Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.Track defects and follow up on issues until closure.Ensure the application meets quality standards before release.Prepare QA status reports and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues.Required Skills Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Good knowledge of Functional Testing and Manual Testing.Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.Good understanding of Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and System Testing.Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.Basic understanding of API testing is an advantage.Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Good communication and teamwork skills.Experience Experience: 01 years in Software Testing / QA.Freshers with strong knowledge of manual and functional testing may also be considered.Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.Job Type: Full-time Location: Hyderabad Compensation: 100,000.00 - 200,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
