Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding complies with industry standards and payer guidelines.
- Maintain coding accuracy and productivity targets.
- Identify documentation gaps and communicate with internal teams when necessary.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient health information (HIPAA compliance where applicable).
- Participate in training programs and continuous learning.
