Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, and monitor team performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment of goods.
- Implement proper warehouse layout, storage, and material-handling procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and company policies.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and resolve delivery or inventory issues.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory-tracking tools.
- Reduce operational costs through efficient use of labor, space, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs or preventive maintenance.
- Prepare operational reports covering inventory, productivity, order accuracy, and warehouse performance.
- Train employees on warehouse procedures, safety standards, and equipment usage.
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
