Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books.
Prepare and process customer invoices, vendor bills, payment vouchers, and receipts.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Process employee reimbursements and maintain expense records.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare GST workings, reconcile GST data, and coordinate timely GST return filings.
Support TDS calculations, deductions, and reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks whenever required.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports for management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. .
