Role Description The Wealth Management Intern will support the client service/ aquisition team with client-related and research activities in an on-site role based in Ernakulam & Coimbatore. This internship involves assisting with financial planning analyses, preparing investment proposals, and helping review portfolios using the firms wealth management and risk frameworks. The intern should contribute to client presentations, and help maintain accurate client data and documentation.
The role also includes coordinating with team members to support client meetings, preparing reports, and learning to apply ethical and client-centric practices in wealth management. Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance and a strong interest in wealth management and capital markets.
Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning, including basics of asset allocation, retirement planning, and goal-based planning.
Candidates should possess skills related to Investment Management and Investments, such as understanding of equities, mutual funds, SIFs, AIFs and fixed-income products.
Candidates should possess awareness of Insurance solutions as part of comprehensive financial planning and risk management.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ernakulam, Coimbatire and demonstrate integrity, and maintain client confidentiality.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; progress toward professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) is an added advantage.
Preference will be given to candidates who have certifications like NISM 5A, 5D, NISM XA or 10B. .
