Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh for Wealth Manager Individual and Playing Captain, Equity Broking Advisors Sales and Leaders. The role involves advising individual clients on wealth management strategies, including investment planning, portfolio construction, and risk management, in line with SMIFS client-first philosophy. The position also includes leading and mentoring a team of equity broking advisors, driving sales performance, and ensuring high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory norms. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, understanding their financial goals, recommending appropriate investment and insurance solutions, monitoring portfolios, and coordinating with internal research, operations, and product teams. The Playing Captain aspect of the role requires both frontline client engagement and active leadership of the sales team to achieve business targets and long-term growth.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Financial Planning and Finance to understand client goals, risk profiles, and cash flow needs.Proficiency in Investment Management and Investments to construct, review, and optimize client portfolios across asset classes.Knowledge of Insurance solutions to integrate protection strategies into overall wealth plans.Proven experience in wealth management, equity broking, or financial advisory, preferably in a client-facing sales and leadership role.Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards.Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills, with a client-centric mindset.Bachelors or masters degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM, CFP, or equivalent) are an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with financial products, markets, and regulatory frameworks. .
