Join Barclays as a Windows Server Engineer role, where Join us as a Mainframe MQ Infrastructure Engineer the purpose of your role is to build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. At Barclays, we don't just anticipate the future - we're creating it.
To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
- Candidate should have minimum 8+ years of working experience on Windows Servers
- Hands on experience on Windows Server OS 2016,2019 and 2022
- Experience on Windows server cluster and troubleshooting on cluster issues.
- Experience on Windows server security updates and product lifecycle.
- Positive understanding and knowledge on Windows Server PowerShell scripting.
- Should have understanding on local/domain polices and troubleshooting on issues related to windows network.
- Knowledge on Antivirus solutions like MDE, Symantec AV.
- Observability and Monitoring
Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include Below
- Experience on either of automation technologies Ansible AAP, Chef
- Experience/ understanding on Git commands, Jenkins pipeline, GitLab.
- MCSE/MCSA, ITIL certification.
