01Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C++/C#/Java/Python for Windows applications.
3. Design and implement test automation frameworks and strategies for efficient and effective testing.
4. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
5. Analyse test results and provide feedback to stakeholders on product quality and performance.
6. Identify and report software defects, track issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
7. Perform crash dump analysis to diagnose and troubleshoot software crashes and stability issues.
8. Create test plans, test cases, and test data sets for functional, regression, and performance testing.
9. Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to automation testing for Windows applications.
10. Participate in code reviews, process improvements, and knowledge sharing sessions within the team.
02Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience (8+ years) as an automation tester with expertise in testing Windows applications.
3. Strong programming skills in C++/C#/Java or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
4. Proficiency in test case design, test planning, and test execution.
6. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including crash dump analysis.
8. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
10. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Good to have:
1. Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) and/or programming languages.
3. Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Device Farm).
4. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., Performance Monitor, JMeter, LoadRunner).
5. Knowledge of accessibility testing and security testing principles.
6. Experience testing complex enterprise-level Windows applications.
Work Experience
Proven experience (8+ years) as an automation tester with expertise in testing Windows applications.
