01Overview
As a Senior Application Developer at UST, you will play a crucial role in independently analyzing and developing applications on ERP/CRM systems while designing solutions under the supervision of an Architect and managing a team. Your key responsibilities will include:- Developing technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications and Deployment documentation- Performing design document reviews, peer code reviews, and suggesting code improvements- Acting as a single point of contact for build and deployment issues, resolving them in a timely manner- Learning technology business/system domain as recommended by the project/account- Contributing to ERP/CRM Practice activities such as assembling content for case studies, coordinating internal seminars, and participating in hackathons- Selecting appropriate technical options for development and improving the technical design of applications/systems- Optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality while implementing new features released in relevant technology- Interpreting application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications- Coding, debugging, testing, documenting, and communicating product/component/feature development stages- Validating results with user representatives, integrating, and commissioning the overall solution- Influencing and improving customer satisfaction through code refactoring suggestions and improvements in business processes- Setting goals, measuring progress, and updating accordingly in NorthStar- Completing applicable technical/domain certifications and adhering to coding standards and processIn addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to:- Understand requirements/user stories- Provide inputs for effort and size estimation, plan resources for projects, and follow scrum ceremonies- Contribute to the creation of design/architecture for Applications/feature/Business Components- Define coding standards, templates, and checklists, perform code reviews, create and review unit test cases- Manage defects, project delivery, and documentation- Report task status, comply with project-related reporting standards, and manage knowledge- Execute and monitor release process, interface with customers, and manage/mentor teamSkills required for this role include:- Excellent communication skills- Proficiency in Workday HCM, Architecture, and PeopleSoft- Ability to explain and communicate designs/developments, evaluate test results, estimate effort/resources, and manage teams effectivelyAbout UST:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with a deep domain expertise and future-proof philosophy.
