Job Title: Zinc, Lead & Zorba Purchase Specialist Industry: Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling About the Role JAGUAR RESOURCES & CAPITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Zinc, Lead & Zorba Purchase Specialist to strengthen our global procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing Zinc scrap, Lead scrap, and Zorba from domestic and international suppliers while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely execution. Key Responsibilities Source and procure Zinc scrap, Lead scrap, and Zorba from domestic and international markets.Build and maintain strong relationships with scrapyards, recyclers, suppliers, traders, and brokers dealing in Zinc, Lead, Zorba, and other non-ferrous scrap.Identify and develop new procurement channels to expand the supplier network.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, and contracts to maximize profitability.Monitor global non-ferrous scrap markets, including LME trends, aluminium market movements, freight rates, demand-supply dynamics, and pricing movements.Coordinate with logistics, documentation, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery schedules, and reliability.Ensure all purchased materials meet company quality specifications and customer requirements.Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and market intelligence reports.Work closely with the sales and trading teams to align procurement strategies with market demand.Resolve supplier issues related to quality, quantity, shipment delays, claims, or documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.38 years of experience in procurement or trading of Zinc scrap, Lead scrap, Zorba, or other non-ferrous metal scrap.Strong understanding of the global non-ferrous scrap recycling industry and international trade practices.Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export documentation, shipping, and logistics.Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and commercial decision-making skills.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM systems.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented trading environment. Preferred Skills Established network of suppliers, scrapyards, recyclers, and traders in the non-ferrous scrap industry.Good understanding of Zinc, Lead, Zorba and other non-ferrous metal grades, quality specifications, and inspection parameters.Ability to analyze market trends and identify profitable purchasing opportunities.Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills.Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
