Technical Competencies/Specializations: - Sales leadership, strategic foresight, relationship management, and regulatory expertise. - Knowledge and experience in insurance & regulatory framework. - Understanding of BFSI and bancassurance model. - Proven track record in Marketing & Business Development. As the Head of Sales and Operations at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance, your role is crucial in driving business growth and ensuring operational efficiency within partner bank branches in the region. Your responsibilities include: - Holding overall accountability for sales, marketing, and operations across partner bank branches. - Building strong relationships with Senior Management at various levels to support branch-level sales teams effectively. - Strategizing and planning business delivery through structured activity management. - Promoting ethical business practices and driving sales through an optimized product mix. - Managing relationship-building and regular engagement with channel heads, branch managers, and leadership teams. - Demonstrating leadership by focusing on teamwork and people development. - Ensuring consistent business performance through operational effectiveness and efficient management of premium collections. - Maintaining strict adherence to IRDA regulations and staying updated with evolving regulatory guidelines. Stakeholder Management: - Working closely with leaders across functions, counterparts in other channels, subordinate teams, and cross-functional teams. - Managing a team of 900 to 1000 employees, including Relationship Managers, Area Managers, Territory Managers, and Front Line Sales.
