Position: Medical Coding Trainee / Medical Coder (Fresher)

Eligibility:

 B.Sc. Zoology or Life Science graduate
Freshers are welcome
Good knowledge of Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology
Basic computer skills
Good communication and analytical skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
Identify and correct coding errors when required.
Work with quality and audit teams to improve coding accuracy.
Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Stay updated on coding guidelines and industry standards.

Required Skills:

 Basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology
Medical Terminology knowledge
Attention to detail
Good typing and computer skills
Willingness to learn medical coding standards
Ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

 B.Sc. Zoology/Life Sciences
B.SC. Biology, Nursing, BPT, BDS, Microbiology, Pharamedical
Medical coding certification (optional but an advantage)
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS is a plus
