Machine Learning Engineer
As a Machine Learning Engineer within the newly created Data & Analytics team of BU FPS, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that support artificial intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and business intelligence requirements within Hilti's customer-facing software and service solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to build scalable ML pipelines, ensure model performance, and integrate ML solutions into production systems.
What Youll Bring
Possess a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, or equivalent; preference given to those with a Masters Degree.Have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in leveraging AWS and/or other cloud providers and analytics platforms, with a proven track record of delivering sophisticated solutions.Experience with MLOps tools and frameworks for model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.Experience integrating ML models into production systems and working with APIs.Familiarity with CI/CD practices for ML workflows and automated testing of model performance and stability.Experience with AWS cloud-services like Sagemaker, Glue, Athena, Lambda and similarPrior experience in virtual team settings.Possess a keen problem-solving acumen, self-driven, and proactive.Exhibit exceptional communication skills in English, adept at engaging stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrate adeptness in managing multiple tasks under stringent timelines.Collaborative team player, adept at fostering synergy within diverse teams.
