Job Description 

We are seeking a dedicated cloud architect who will play a pivotal role in the management of cloud strategies and infrastructures.  The candidate will be leveraging their expertise in cloud services such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Architects to ensure optimal performance and reliability of cloud-based systems The candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive cloud strategy that aligns with the company’s goals. This includes evaluating current systems, identifying opportunities for cloud integration, and planning the migration of applications and data to the cloud. The candidate is skilled at assessing and recommending the best cloud services and technologies to meet evolving business needs. Cloud Architects also play a critical role in the design and architecture of cloud solutions. The candidate will be playing an imperative role in creating informative, authentic architectural diagrams, ensuring best practices for cloud security and compliance, and designing systems that are resilient, scalable, and high-performing. Their work involves close collaboration with various teams, including DevOps, IT, and software development, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud systems. In addition to technical expertise, the Candidate should possess robust problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. They will be helping juniors and supporting them in activities like troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.Overall the candidate will be instrumental in driving technological advancements and operational efficiency in an organisation. 

Responsibilities 

• Designing, and implementing a cloud strategy that aligns with company goals 

• Evaluating current infrastructure and improvement areas for cloud-based solutions 

• Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).

• Should Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud infrastructure.

• Monitor cloud performance and optimize configurations for cost and performance efficiency.

• Should Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams and documentation.

• Design scalable, high-performance, and resilient cloud solutions.

• Should  Implement best practices for cloud architecture, including disaster recovery, data security, and compliance.

• Should Assess recovery and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet evolving business needs.

• Integrating cloud solutions with on-premises systems and third-party applications.

• Managing the migration of applications and data to cloud environments.

• Implementing and managing security policies and procedures to protect cloud assets.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

• Not only this the candidate should be collaborative and help with other team members. 

Qualifications 

• Should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Prior  5 years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on architecture and infrastructure management.

• Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• Should be an experienced Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

• Possess a Deep understanding of cloud architecture and services.

• Should be proficient in cloud infrastructure management tools and services.

• Experience with cloud security best practices and technologies.

• Should be Familiar with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Along with technical skills the candidate should possess Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Should have the Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Qualitative Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide team members.
