Job Description 

We are seeking a dedicated data architect who will be playing an imperative role in shaping the data landscape of an organisation, assuring the data infrastructure is robust, efficient and scalable. The candidate should be working on the design and development of comprehensive data models facilitating effective storage, retrieval and analysis of data. 
The candidate should be Proficient in a range of database management systems including SQL servers, oracle, MYSQL and PostgreSQL. Their expertise and ability should extend up to data modelling tools and strategies helpful in designing logical and physical data models supporting complex business applications. along with every role the candidate should be focused on security and compliance, the critical aspects of the data architects role. They should establish and learn to enforce data according to given policies and standards.  
Communication is another important aspect to be considered which should be articulated in every discussion, project planning or important meetings to avoid issues and manage a smooth workflow. 

Overall The candidate will be an innovator, continually evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to enhance data management practices. One should stay updated about the latest trends, leading to initiatives and adapting to cutting-edge solutions that improve data performance and efficiency. Data architects will be all over managing technical support along with taking up an organization's journey towards excellence. 

Responsibilities 

• The candidate should be responsible for developing, and maintaining logical, physical data models to support business requirements. 

• Designing and optimizing database structures, schemes

• Ensuring data models that should be aligned with superior standards.

• The candidate should be responsible for implementation, configuration and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS)

• Ensuring the database optimised for performance and security 

• Leading data migration projects to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.

• Developing ETL processes to facilitate transformations and strategies.

• Implementing data security policies to safeguard sensitive information 

• The candidate should be attentive towards new fresh trends, and advancements in data architecture. 

• Leading initiatives to implement new data management practices. 

Qualification 

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Prior experience as a Data Architect, Database Administrator, or similar role.

• The candidate should possess Strong expertise in database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Should be Proficient in data modelling tools and techniques.

• Should have Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.

• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.

• The candidate should have Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

• The candidate should possess Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in developing logical and physical data models to support various business applications.

• Should possess Expertise in managing and optimizing relational and non-relational databases.

• Skilled in designing and implementing ETL processes to consolidate data from multiple sources.

• The candidate should have Knowledge of best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security. Strong command of SQL, Oracle, and other DBMS technologies.

• Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.

• The candidate should have Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
