Job description 

We are seeking a dedicated junior designer for our creative industry who will be playing an imperative role in contributing towards the development and execution of design projects encompassing a wide range of tasks from brainstorming and concept creation to producing well and design finalisation. At the heart of a role candidate should hold the ability to transform ideas into visual representations. This process often begins with creating initial drafts and prototypes, which serve as the foundational blueprints for the project. These drafts are meticulously crafted using various design software tools, showcasing the Junior Designer's technical proficiency and creative flair. The iterative process of refining these designs is crucial, as it involves incorporating feedback from senior designers, clients, and other stakeholders. This not only hones the final output but also fosters a collaborative environment where ideas are continuously exchanged and improved upon.

Candidates should be highly responsible for ensuring that their work aligns with the overall project goals and brand guidelines. They must pay close attention to detail, as even the smallest elements can significantly impact the effectiveness of a design. Their role requires a keen understanding of current design trends, as well as the ability to adapt and innovate within these trends to create unique and compelling visual solutions.

In addition to this, the candidate should be collaborating with senior designers, and project managers ensuring the designing process runs smoothly and efficiently. 
Technical skills are also added to a candidate's responsibility where they must possess strong communication abilities. The candidate should be active in articulating ideas clearly, ensuring every creative version should be understood and appreciated. Overall, junior designers play an authentic role in bringing fresh designs, ideas and other skills to the table. Their contributions are essential in crafting visually appealing and impactful designs that resonate with audiences and fulfil the project's objectives. 


Responsibilities 

 

  • The candidate should be responsible for creating designs, visual strategies 
  • Developing initial drafts, sketches 
  • Utilising software producing high-quality visual content 
  • Ensuring final designs are aligned with project objectives 
  • Working closely with team members and department making sure things go well 
  • Stay updated on current designs, and industry best practices 
  • Apply innovative and evolving design approaches to meeting the evolving needs of projects 
  • Should be responsible for managing time effectively. 
  • The candidate should participate in project kick odds, reviews and retrospective continuous improvement. 

 

Qualification 

 

  • Should have done a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Prior years of experience in a design role, preferably within an agency setting.
  • The candidate should have Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Should be Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and Figma.
  • Should have a Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
  • The candidate should have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaboration
