Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated cloud engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be holding a valuable position in designing, deploying and managing cloud-based systems. The candidate should work towards consistent improvement by collaborating with various teams, including development, operations and security integrating cloud solutions seamlessly into existing workflows. The candidate should hold robust expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud enabling them to implement sophisticated architecture.

Along with their technical prowess, Cloud Engineers are skilled problem solvers. They should be aware to continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, implementing automated systems for alerting and logging to swiftly identify and resolve issues. Their proactive approach to performance tuning and capacity planning ensures that cloud environments can handle high traffic volumes and remain reliable under stress. Security is a paramount concern for Cloud Engineers, who employ best practices to protect data and applications from potential threats. They manage access controls, conduct security assessments, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Should be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into reliable cloud solutions.

• Designing, deploying and managing cloud-based systems optimizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

• Ensuring cloud architecture meets security and industry guidelines

• Continuously monitoring cloud infrastructure assures optimal performance, availability.

• Optimizing cloud resources to improve cost efficiency without compromising performance or quality of services.

• Conducting regular performance according to capacity.

• Inclined towards the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices

• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure supporting recovery and other technical concepts.

• Along with other responsibilities, the candidate should be actively participating in leading projects and initiatives streamlining cloud operations.

Qualification

• Should have done a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering

• A master's degree is also preferable.

• Should have 3 years of experience in cloud engineering

• Proven track record of designing, deploying and managing cloud-based systems

• Should have good experience in DevOps, hybrid cloud solutions and project management tools

• Uphold relevant cloud certifications like AWS-certified solutions, Google Cloud etc.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in cloud architecture design and implementation.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud.

• The candidate should be Experienced with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

• Should possess Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• The candidate should have Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects together.
