Job Description 

We are actively seeking a dedicated cyber security specialist who will be tasked with the responsibility of safeguarding an organization's information systems and networks from cyber threats. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring transparency and integrity of digital assets.  The candidates will be encompassing a range of activities including development, implementation and security strategies monitoring potential threats, assessing vulnerabilities properly and creating strong mitigation plans safeguarding against attacks. The candidates should be experts in designing and implementing security architectures, integrating advanced technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols. Should be working actively assuring that all software, hardware, and network configurations are secure and up-to-date. Regular security audits and compliance checks are conducted to align with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.

The candidate should play a vital role in fostering a culture of security awareness within an organisation by developing and planning programs to educate employees about effective practices and emerging threats. the candidate will be coordinating with stakeholders mitigating damages and managing operations swiftly. Overall, the candidate chosen as cyber security specialist will be playing an imperative role of frontline defenders against cyber threats ensuring every organization remains secure, resilient and capable. 

Responsibilities 

• The candidate should be responsible for developing, and implementing comprehensive security strategies protecting systems.

• Conducting risk assessments identifying strategies 

• Collaborating with management to align security initiatives 

• Monitoring networks and navigating other systems in determining the root cause of security.

• Ensuring secure configuration and deployment of software, and hardware network components.

• Conducting regular audits and security policies according to given guidelines 

• The candidate should be aware of evaluating and recommending security tools to enhance security posture 

• Candidates should prepare detailed reports on security incidents, assessments and audits. 

Qualification 

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.

• Should be Experienced with cloud security, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Must possess Knowledge of scripting and automation tools, such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

• Should be Familiar and knowledgeable about threat intelligence and threat hunting methodologies.

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Prior experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.

• The candidate should be proficient in security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection solutions.

• The candidate should hold authentic knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common vulnerabilities and attack vectors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.    Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

• Should be Familiar with regulatory requirements and compliance standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
