Job Description 

We are seeking an ideal IT manager to join our organisation driving technological strategy and assuring every employee is equipped with the tools needed in task. The candidate will be focusing on troubleshooting and maintenance, encompassing strategic planning, project management and cross-departmental. One of the IT Manager's primary responsibilities is to safeguard the organization’s data. This involves implementing advanced cybersecurity measures, regularly updating systems, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. The candidate should be working closely with departments like HR and finance, the IT Manager ensures that sensitive information is securely managed and accessible only to authorized personnel. This collaborative approach not only enhances security but also streamlines operations, making processes more efficient and integrated. Moreover, the IT manager plays an important role in driving innovation within the organisation. They stay abreast of the latest technological trends and assess their potential impact on the business. By adopting and integrating cutting-edge technologies, the IT Manager helps the organization maintain a competitive edge, improving productivity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities 

  • Should be responsible for leading, and monitoring a team of IT professionals including system administrators, and support staff.
  • Fostering Collaboration and an innovative team environment encouraging professional development.
  • Identifying opportunities for technology improvements to enhance business operations.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Developing and managing IT department budget ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • The candidate should be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and regulations. 
  • The candidate should maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation. 

 

Qualification 

  • Should have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Prior  5-7 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems.
  • Should have experience in managing IT projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Should have Experience with budget management and financial planning.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable.
