Job Description 

We are looking for a dedicated IT consultant who will be providing strategic advice on both technology and strategies to meet organisational goals. The candidate should possess deep understanding by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs . 

The candidate should be able to manage a range of responsibilities, including overseeing IT projects from inception to completion. They coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. The candidate should hold powerful  project management skills important in navigating the complexities of technology implementations, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and minimizing disruptions to business operations. A significant aspect of an IT Consultant's role is providing technical support and troubleshooting. They should know how to address technical issues promptly and effectively, ensuring that IT systems operate smoothly and securely. This involves resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems and implementing robust security measures to protect against potential threats additionally, candidate should offer training and development programs to assist clients and their staff effectively use new technologies, creating user manuals and providing ongoing support to facilitate the transition and continuous improvement of IT capabilities. Overall the candidate should be Outstanding problem solver with effective communication skills . The ability to stay updated with constant technological advancements should uphold their pride, helping in organisation navigating the complexities and making informed decisions that enhance their competitiveness and success. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • The candidate should be responsible for meeting with clients, understanding business goals and so on.
  • Developing detailed project proposals outlining strategic use of technology to meet business objectives. 
  • Developing and implementing IT plans, and procedures to support the organisation’s objectives 
  • Advise on the acquisition and implementation of new technologies ensuring they meet clients’ deadlines 
  • Monitoring project progress by identifying potential issues 
  • Developing training programmes as per requirement ensuring they can effectively use new technologies
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance assisting them to continuously improving their IT capabilities 
  • Implementing security measures and protocols to protect clients’ data with efficiency.

 

Qualification 

  • The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience as an IT Consultant or similar role, with a strong track record of successful IT project management.
  • The candidate should hold In-depth knowledge of IT systems, software, hardware, networks, and emerging technologies.
  • Should possess a Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align IT strategies with business goals.
  • The candidate should have Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • The candidate should hold Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications are highly desirable.
