Job Description 

We are looking for a professional SQL server DBA responsible for managing database schemes, upholding the responsibility to enhance database performance and systems reliability. A passionate candidate should possess a robust understanding of database restores, and backups keeping constant pace with emerging technologies. They are required to collaborate with development teams, and other administrators present in the organization to optimize the Microsoft SQL server database with an assurance of the performance of data infrastructure. SQL server database administrators stay in accordance with emerging technology enhancing database performance. 

Job Responsibility 

• Database installation, configuration, and maintaining Microsoft SQL server database ensuring effective performance.  

• Monitoring and analyzing structures of data to follow up with required changes

• Implementing database schemes, supporting efficient data storage, and conducting tests to ensure accurate database performance 

• Implementing recovery strategies ensuring integrity and authenticity. Also undergoing regular checks and recovery procedures. 

• Upholding the ability to follow security management by protecting sensitive data from unknown attacks or access 

• Analysing database performance, by protecting checking, and resolving performance issues to minimize downtime

• Planning and executing database upgrades by maintaining system compatibility.

• Planning the duties related to the documentation of database configurations, procedures, and principles.

• Generation reports will be the utmost responsibility of every database administrator.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, and administrators supporting database-related initiatives 

• Serving companies with technical support and guidance in database-related issues and best practices. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology 

• Satisfactory experience as SQL server database administrator. 

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL server administrator contributing to installation, configuration 

• Should be skilled in troubleshooting and performance tuning 

• High managing skills in understanding database design, optimization techniques 

• Aware of backup and recovery procedures, database security management 

• Knowledge about high availability and recovery solutions 

• Outstanding problem-solving skills ensuring work delivery within the time 

• Ability to work independently or lead the whole team confidently
