Job Description 

We are seeking a dedicated database developer who will be playing an imperative role in designing developing and maintaining strong database systems forming the bone of our applications and business processes The candidate will be leveraging an extensive understanding of SQL and NoSQL database to s to optimize database objects including tables, views, indexes and procedures. The candidate should be focused on ensuring high performance and reliability along with consistent monitoring and analysis of database performance maintaining seamless operations. 

The database developer should be active in handling Data security and compliance which are paramount, implementing powerful security measures to protect sensitive information. Candidates will ensure database systems comply with relevant data protection regulations and company policies, conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to safeguard our data assets.

As Collaboration is central to the role, the candidate will be working closely with application developers and IT teams to understand data requirements and provide tailored database solutions. Their ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently will support the smooth functioning of our applications. Additionally, The candidate will be offering technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. along with this their keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills will be playing an essential in maintaining data integrity and consistency across our systems. Responsibilities 

• Candidate should be responsible for designing, and developing database systems .

• Creating and maintaining database objects, including tables, views, indexes 

• Developing and optimising SQL queries to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Analysing database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks 

• Implementing and maintaining security measures protecting sensitive information 

• Ensuring data compliance, with regulations and policies 

• Working closely with application developers, understanding unique requirements. 

• Providing technical support and guidance to junior developers along with other team members

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation 

• Generating reports and data extraction. 

Qualification 

• The Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• A Master's degree can be an added advantage 

• Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).

• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Prior experience in database development and administration.

• Prior experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar.

• Should be Experienced with data modelling tools and techniques.

• Proficiency in SQL and database programming.

• Should possess a Strong understanding of database design principles and normalisation.

• Knowledge of performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.

• Should be Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

• Candidates should be highly experienced with database backup and recovery procedures.

• Possess an Understanding of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Should hold talent in Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
